Weyerhaeuser is currently recruiting for Industrial Forklift Operators at the Grifton, NC Lumber Mill.

Key Functions:
- Total commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for cleaning the assigned production area – sweeping and removing debris and lumber.
- Safely operates and maintains a gas forklift to unload, move, store, stage, load and unload products
- Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned are of responsibility
- Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as delegated
- Accurately counts units, multiplies, adds, subtracts, and records, totals
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Communicating with team members and leadership to ensure consistent exchange of information relative to position
High School Diploma or GED
- Resume detailing education and work history is required for consideration
- Minimum two (2) years of experience operating forklifts and/or other mobile lift equipment
- Willingness and dedication to wear all personal protective equipment required
- Previous Forklift operator certification
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work within a team to resolve issues and complete tasks
- Able to perform basic math and computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work overtime should conditions require
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule
- Able to work in extreme heat and/or cold
- Able to perform the essential job functions of the position which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting to 50 lbs., stooping and bending
- Willingness and ability to learn new jobs and skills
- Willingness to work in Grifton, NC without requiring relocation assistance
